Victoria's Secret Yahoo Diary, 2003-2004
Tuesday 2nd December
The evening of the second sees me flying to Madrid. Tomorrow I'm being interviewed
around city by Cat Deely and Carla Romano from GMTV. David's mum comes with
me to help with the boys, it's lovely to be going home to see David!
Wednesday 3rd December
I'm out on location all day, being interviewed by Cat for CDUK and Carla for
GMTV. Later on I go to watch David playing - of course his team wins!
Thursday 4th December
I catch an early flight which gets me back to England for about ten in the morning,
and I head straight into town to see the final edits of my two videos. After
that I see the final edit of the DVD which comes out at the end of January.
This comprises of the documentary that will be aired on Christmas Eve on ITV1,
half an hour of additional footage, 6 tracks including the two singles and a
picture gallery of previously unseen photos and footage of behind the scenes
of the videos.
Friday 5th December
Another busy day. Both videos are shown on Top Of The Pops so that the audience
can vote for their favourite, after that there's a documentary on the making
of the videos which is screened on MTV.
Saturday 6th December
Rehearsals from lunchtime, followed by a pre-recorded performance for the Parkinson
Christmas special. This was my first performance so I was a little nervous!
Sunday 7th December
The morning is spent rehearsing a comedy sketch with the Kumars for the Parkinson
Christmas special, and then off to Radio 1 for a live chat on the Chart Show,
then it was back to BBC Television Centre to record the comedy sketch. Jay Brown,
a friend of mine from LA is over (I worked with him on tracks that are on my
DVD) - it's really nice to hang out with friends.
Monday 8th December
I¹m in Harrods shopping with Fern Cotton for Top Of The Pops Saturday Show,
then it's a bit of Christmas shopping for David and the boys.
Tuesday 9th December
Day off
Wednesday 10th December
In the morning I launched Damon Dash's clothing line for Rocawear at Selfridges,
then in the afternoon a photo shoot for the Sunday Times Style section. David
and the boys are with me for the day.
Thursday 11th December
In rehearsals for "This Groove" - which I'll perform tomorrow on Top
of the Pops.
Friday 12th December
Performing live on Top Of The Pops with eight male dancers with new choreography.
Saturday 13th December
Up early to perform live on CD:UK - this time I'm doing "Let Your head
Go" after which it's straight to Madrid with the boys.
Sunday 14th December
Family day - all of us together!
Monday 15th December
A photo shoot for the cover of Spanish Vogue and then back to England with the
boys in the evening.
Tuesday 16th December
David flies back for the day so we can see the stage production of 'The Snowman'
with the boys. We had an amazing day!
Wednesday 17th December
In the morning a pre-record performance for the TOTP Saturday Show. In the afternoon,
a photo shoot with photographers Mert & Marcus for the edgy magazine POP.
I was so excited, I love the magazine and what amazing photographers!
Thursday 18th December
A 9am pre-record for GMTV, then on to the BBC to record the Christmas Top of
the Pops. In the evening, an interview with Jonathan Ross!
Friday 19th December
First it was a whole morning of radio interviews (four hours back to back) followed
by a trip to MTV to be interviewed live and perform on TRL and then pre-record
the TRL Christmas day show. So many fans turned up, I had a great day!
Saturday 20th December
David is home for Christmas! Spend all day Christmas shopping, I thought I was
prepared. I'm soooo not!!!
Sunday 21st December
The morning is taken up with a live interview and performance on T4 - the afternoon
with an interview with POP magazine.
Monday 22nd December
David and I had lunch in Harrods followed by a trip to see Father Christmas
with Brooklyn and Romeo. Then a fitting with Dolce and Gabbana for the outfit
I'll wear during my performance on World Idol.
